Del Complesso Monastico di San Gregorio Magno, composto dal Monastero e dalla Chiesa, oggi si può ammirare la torre campanaria in pietra arenaria , che fù costruita nel 1738 dall’Architetto Calatino Don Nicolò Commendatore.
della chiesa si hanno notizie dopo il Bombardamento del 1943, oggi non ne esiste traccia.
Ne sono rimasti pochi ruderi e gli altari rimasti vennero collocati in altre chiese.
L’altare Maggiore e stato collocato presso la cappella della Madonna della Salute presso La Chiesa di San Bonaventura.
Don Luigi Sturzo al suo posto fece erigere la Scuola pro Artistico per la Ceramica oggi attuale Liceo Ceramico.

Il P. Aprile soggiunse: “di molte moniali, diesse si sono ritrovati dopo lunghi anni, i cadaveri incorrotti, e di altre se ne perduta memoria.
