La Chiesetta Rurale di San Bartolomeo che divenne Compatrono della citta nel 1630.
Essendo mastro Notaro del Senato Angelo Majorana.
La Confraternita era di cittadini distinti i quali acquistarono una bella Reliquia del loro Santo, dopo aver ottenuto il Privilegio della fier, che allora valevafrancheggia di tasse e immunità di persone.
La Chiesetta fu rifabbricata verso il 1855 dal Comune e soppressa nel 1891 quando il Santo fu Trasportato in Santa Maria Di Gesù.
Oggi la Reliquia del piede di San Bartolomeo appartiene alla Basilica Parrocchiale di San Giacomo ed e’ esposta presso Il museo diocesano Di Caltagirone.
Oltre alla reliquia del piede , e bella la Pittura di San Bartolomeo, copia del Disegno dello Spagnoletto fatta da Francesco Narbone da Girgenti.
Oggi la Chiesetta e chiusa al culto e affidata a privati.
